La storia siamo noi

7 March 2010 in Politics

After the latest events and the terrible novelty called “interpretational law decree” instantiated in order to change the meaning to the clear laws of a democratic country, I can say that we currently have a de-facto regime in Italy. I am not coming back, I have no intention to come back and I will not come back until I see any real sign of rebellion, of protest to prove me that things can really change. And since history repeats itself, I leave you with a song that does not need any “interpretational decree”, a song that I had the fortune and privilege to listen live directly from his author during a 1st of May concert in Rome. The song is “La Storia” (The History) by Francesco De Gregori. Because “history is everyone, noone should feel excluded”.

Eclipse

There is no dark side of the moon really...
All that you touch, all that you see
All that you taste, all you feel.
All that you love, all that you hate
All you distrust, all you save.
All that you give, all that you deal
All that you buy, beg, borrow or steal.
All you create, all you destroy
All that you do, all that you say.
All that you eat and everyone you meet
All that you slight and everyone you fight.
All that is now, all that is gone
All that's to come and everything
under the sun is in tune
but the sun is eclipsed by the moon.
