Madhouse
12 March 2010 in Politics, Netherlands
Italy is becoming like a madhouse. It’s not me who says that, but the Dutch newspaper whose photo is attached to this post, that has chosen today an Italian story for its frontpage, with the word “Gekkenhuis” (meaning “madhouse” in Dutch language) referring to the most recent immunity law approved by Berlusconi’s parliamentary majority, the so-called “legitimate impediment“, and defining Italian democracy in serious danger. If you wanted a proof to confirm the loss of international prestige of Italy all over the world, here it is.
