Catching ideas
31 August 2010 in Daily life, Paranoia, Trips, Whatever, Netherlands
I can say it as official now: I will stay here in Groningen for a little more time. Some more time to understand what’s happening around me and then move again toward new horizons. In the meantime I keep spending my weekends out of the office jail, travelling around Netherlands and Europe with a red Moleskine agenda, a pen, a book and (sometimes) my camera in order to catch a moment of inspiration to describe my present and future life. On the 23rd I was in Terschelling: as an islander, I have definitely appreciated being surrounded by the sea, and I quite enjoyed my bike excursion and a walk along the desert beach under the typical Dutch rain. Moments like these are sometimes necessary in order to clean up your mind and understand the surrounding world, and I actually feel like recommending such experiences to you. So, goodbye song for today comes from The Doors, and has a very catchy chorus: tell all the people that you see, follow me down. One of my favourite songs from Jim Morrison and friends, needless to say. Bye.
